Skipsea Caravan Windows Ltd from Skipsea East Yorkshire and is owned and operated by Darren Turfrey (formerly of Ossett Caravan Windows) who has been involved in installing and manufacturing double glazed windows and doors for static caravans since 1997. Together with an experienced team of installers and fabricators, the company today has an immense amount of experience in both the manufacture and fitment of caravan double glazing profiles.
Darren recalls that when he originally purchased ready made profiles from other manufacturers, that he was always seeming to make compromises, as invariably the profiles and units he was supplied with were based upon household double glazing and more often than not, the quality and standard was not to his exacting requirement.
To improve the specification and quality of the windows they were then fitting, Darren invested in specialist machinery and stock so that the company could build their own units and now all the doors and windows fitted by Skipsea Caravan Windows are made on site at the plant in Skipsea.
It quickly became apparent that the standard of product was exceptional and testament to this is the fact that the company soon began supplying windows and doors to other firms, some of whom it has spent many years quoting against.
Today, the company specialises in the manufacture, supply and fitting of double glazed static caravan windows and doors and offers a nationwide fitment service.
